Refund Policy
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains when payments for OfficeLint subscriptions, credits and other paid features can be refunded, and how to ask for a refund.
1. General rule
Payments for subscriptions, credits and other paid features are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or stated in this policy. This policy does not limit your statutory refund rights or other consumer rights.
2. Credits returned after service problems
If a check or export cannot be completed because of a fault in the Service, the credits it used are returned to your account automatically, with no need to ask. If you believe credits were charged by mistake because of a problem with the Service, contact us and we will return them once we have confirmed the issue.
3. Subscriptions
You can cancel automatic renewal in your account settings at any time; contact support if you have trouble doing so. You can continue using the Service until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid for that period are not refunded except as required by law or provided in this policy.
4. Exceptional circumstances
Contact us if you notice a duplicate or incorrect charge, or a serious service problem. We may offer a full or partial refund after considering the amount actually paid, services used and unused credits. Any tax that must be refunded by law will be included, and the total refund will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.
5. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you generally have 14 days from entering into the purchase contract to withdraw in accordance with local consumer protection law. To withdraw, clearly tell us by email using the address in this policy before the deadline. For services or digital content already supplied, the right to withdraw and the amount refundable may be subject to conditions and exceptions under applicable law. Receiving credits alone does not mean you have waived your statutory rights.
6. When refunds may be refused
For discretionary refunds not required by law, we may refuse or limit requests involving fraud, abuse, repeated requests for the same payment, or services already used. A discounted purchase, account suspension or a previous refund request does not by itself affect your statutory rights.
7. Processing
Once a refund is approved, we will promptly initiate it to your original payment method and comply with any deadline required by applicable law. The time it takes to reach your account depends on your payment provider. Credits corresponding to the refunded amount will be removed from your account, and we will explain whether your subscription will end as part of the refund.
8. How to ask
Contact us at support@officelint.com with your account email address, order details and the reason for your request.
